What to Include in Your Message
To help me help you as quickly as possible, here are a few things you can mention (but don’t worry if you’re not sure about any of them — just tell me what you can):
- What’s going on — Describe the problem in your own words. There’s no wrong way to explain it.
- What device you’re using — Is it a laptop, desktop, phone, or tablet? Do you know if it’s Windows, Mac, or something else?
- When it started — Did it just happen, or has it been going on for a while?
- What you’ve already tried — Even if it didn’t work, it helps me know where to start.
Don’t worry about using the “right” technical words. Just tell me what’s happening, and I’ll figure it out from there.
What Happens Next
Once I get your message, here’s what to expect:
- I’ll reply as soon as I can — usually within a day or two.
- I’ll ask a few follow-up questions if I need more details.
- We’ll figure out the best way to help — whether that’s a quick email back, a phone call, or a hands-on session.
